I obtained my medical degree at the 'Technion - Israel Institute of Technology'.

After completing a six-year training program in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with distinction at Emek Medical Centre in Israel, I obtained my specialist qualification and was highly involved in medical education for medical students and O&G trainees. During that time, I initiated and was in charge of a multidisciplinary Fibroid clinic that used novel approaches to treat Uterine Fibroids.  

My interest and passion in minimally invasive surgery in Gynaecology led me to move with my family to Australia to undertake a two-year advanced training program under 'AGES—the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society'. The fellowship program took place at Monash Health under the mentorship of A/Prof. Jim Tsaltas.

During my fellowship, I performed hundreds of complex, Minimally Invasive advanced surgeries, worked with some of the leading surgeons in Australia in the field of Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery in Gynaecology and perfected my surgical abilities.

As an AGES fellow, I am accredited to perform the most complex Laparoscopic surgeries in Gynaecology. 

I currently hold two public appointments: I am the Deputy Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgery Unit at Monash Health and the Gynaecological leader at Blackburn Hospital, Eastern Health. 

I consult and operate in both healthcare systems, and I am highly involved in medical education and research. 

Over the years, I have published in international journals, participated in and presented my research at numerous national and international professional meetings, and been awarded 'best lecturer' several times. 

Outside my public and private practice, I enjoy the beautiful Australian outdoors with my wife and 3 kids and like running long distances.
